Men's CRHP Retreat: March 3-4, 2018
What is Christ Renews His Parish?
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a spiritual renewal process designed to bring members of our parish together in Christ. CRHP has a clear focus on the Gospel and emphasizes continued growth in Christian life through scripture study, prayer, the sacraments, and fellowship with members of our Emmaus Catholic Parish community.
CRHP is for anyone who seeks spiritual renewal, desires to build up the Body of Christ, or gain a deeper sense of purpose and fellowship within our parish community. If you feel that Christ is calling you through the Holy Spirit, please answer the call. CRHP is open to all Emmaus parishioners who are at least 19 years of age.
The CRHP renewal weekend is an opportunity to step back from daily life and re-examine our Christian, Catholic commitment to the teachings of Jesus. The weekend is also a chance to hear and discuss how Catholics strive to live in our world as citizens of Christ's Church.
Team members center the process around reflections with an emphasis on small group discussions and activities. You will be free to share your thoughts and experiences on your Christian journey to the extent that you are comfortable. Prayer, scripture, and liturgy stimulate dialogue and an atmosphere of reverence. Renewal weekends are ongoing and given for parishioners by parishioners.
There is no cost for attendees.
The weekend runs from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon. See the calendar for a list of CRHP weekends as they are scheduled.
Consider this your invitation to join us. Invitations will also be made in the bulletin and Mass announcements or by someone you know in the parish. Use the online form to sign up. If you would like for someone to call you with more information, contact the parish office.
Sacraments are a part of the weekend, with Mass being celebrated on Saturday evening. Reconciliation is offered to participants with our parish or visiting priests.
